Memorial Services for Waylon M. Hunt are 2 p.m. on Thursday Dec. 27, 2012 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

     Visitation is Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Hunt, 75, died Dec. 25, 2012 at his home. He was born in Meadville, Sept. 4, 1937. He attended Meadville High School and Miss. State University, majoring in Civil Engineering

     Over the past 50 years he was involved in every aspect of commercial construction. He enjoyed woodworking, rebuilding equipment and restoring their home.

     He was a nonstop, hard working, very talented man all his life, but his main passion was his family. He will truly be missed.

     Preceding him in his death were his parents, Waylon M. Hunt Sr. and Callie Smith Hunt; and sisters Josie Williamson and Barbara Hunt.

     Survivors are his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Ann Smith Hunt; daughters Terri Hunt Ford and husband Ramie Ford of Clinton, and Stacey Hunt Murphy and husband John Murphy of Ocean Springs; and son David Keith Hunt and wife Shree of Delhi, La.; nine grandchildren: Kelcey Grubbs, Brianne Grubbs, Mary Claire Ford, Hunter Murphy, Addison Murphy, Andrew Murphy, Madalyn Ashley, Mason Hunt and McKinley Hunt; and sister Genette Hunt and four nephews and many close friends.

     Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Mr. Hunt: 200 East Monticello St., Brookhaven, MS 39601.
