In observance of New Year’s, the following offices will be closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day: the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce, Mississippi Highway Patrol, Brookhaven and Bude/Meadville city offices, and all county offices for Copiah, Franklin, Lawrence and Lincoln counties.

     The Daily Leader business office, the Brookhaven Post Office and Wesson city office will be closed on New Year’s Day.

     Monticello city office will be open until noon on New Year’s Eve and closed on New Year’s Day.

     Waste Pro will run its Tuesday city route on Friday; its Tuesday county route on Saturday; and its Tuesday recycle route on Saturday, for New Year’s Day.
