Funeral services for Shannon Brett Foster, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in Pleasant Ridge United Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

     Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Foster, 22, died Jan. 13, 2013, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born in Brookhaven on July 31, 1990, to Shannon Foster and Melinda McCullough Foster.

     He was of the Baptist faith.

     Preceding him in death were his grandmother, Ruth Foster; uncle, Fred Wayne McCullough; and great-aunt, Barbara Ann Watson.

     Survivors are his mother, Melinda Foster; father, Shannon Foster and wife, Shana; grandparents, Fred and Vickie McCullough and Roger Dale and Liz Foster; great-grandmother, Mildred McCullough; aunt, Fran Lea; uncle, Anthony Foster; special friend and cousin, Keith Watson; cousin, Lynn Watson, all of Brookhaven; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
