Graveside services for Clyde Thomas Jones Jr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Jones, 89, died Jan. 16, 2013, at Silver Cross Home. He was born in Stephenson in Wilkinson County on April 4, 1923, to Clyde Thomas Jones Sr. and Wynnie Humes Jones.

He was an oil well equipment supplier for W.L. Somner Co., where he retired. Mr. Jones was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and first wife, Pauline H. Jones.

Survivors are his wife, Mamie Miller Jones; stepdaughter, Bonnie Vance, of Birmingham, Ala.; brother, Robert E. Jones Sr., of Ferriday, La.; sister, Patsy J. Jones, of Ferriday, La.; nephew, David Williams and wife, Selena; and niece, Paula Vance and husband, Bill, of Bogue Chitto; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
