Fredricka Smith scored 15 points and LaMesheon Woodside added 11 as the Amite County Lady Trojans trounced Enterprise’s Lady Yellow Jackets 65-30 Friday night in Region 7-2A basketball action.

The Enterprise boys lost to the Trojans but additional information was unavailable at press time.

Enterprise visits East Marion at Foxworth Tuesday night for region action, starting with the varsity girls at 6.

The Lady Jackets (10-14, 1-5) got 12 points and 8 rebounds from senior center Veonka Sanders. Senior guard Caroleah Brister had 9 rebounds. Brister also made 2 steals.

“Amite County shot the ball real well,” said Enterprise girls coach Jill Nations.

Nations saw her team trailing 26-11 at halftime.
