Funeral services for Rebecca Ann Sandidge Grim of Brookhaven are noon on Thursday, Feb. 14, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Easthaven Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the funeral home
Mrs. Grim, 89, died Feb. 11, 2013 at Haven Hall Health Care Center. She was born on Nov. 26, 1923 to Benjamin Lamar Sandidge and Lillian Little Sandidge.
She was a retired church secretary for First Baptist Church of Brookhaven, where she was also a member.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Kathleen Sandidge Nations and Agatha Lillian Sandidge; and brothers Benjamin Lamar Sandidge, John Jefferson Sandidge and Edwin Nicholas Sandidge.
Survivors are her husband, Nathan Warren Grim; sons, Michael Warren Grim and wife, Camille, of Brookhaven, and Randall Lynn Grim and wife, Marsha, of Mobile, Ala.; sister-in-law, Anita Sandidge; four grandchildren, April Michelle Grim of Brookhaven, Michael Andrew Grim and wife, Holly, of Hattiesburg, Myles Randall Grim and wife, Lauren, of Southaven, and Lydia Grim Rather and husband, Michael of Mobile, Ala.; four great-grandchildren, Andrew Walker Grim of Hattiesburg, Paxton Arrington Grim of Hattiesburg, Reed Michael Rather of Mobile, Ala. and Lana Austin Rather of Mobile, Ala.; nieces, Floy Nations Mathis and husband, Meade, of Brookhaven, and Deborah Sandidge Carr of Mount Pleasant, Texas; and nephews, Claude Sandidge of Columbia, S.C., Ernie Sandidge of San Antonio and Ronald Sandidge of Victoria, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Mark Mathis, Brad Mathis, Stacy Banes, Samuel Mathis, Benjamin Mathis and Jon Mark Mathis. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Cecil Rhodes Sunday School Class.
