Funeral services for Lavon Griffith of Elberta, Ala., formerly of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, at Harrigill Funeral Home, with burial in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Sontag. The Rev. Carroll D. Walker will officiate.

Visitation is Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Griffith, 91, died Feb. 18, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Foley, Ala. He was born in Lawrence County on Feb. 6, 1922.
