Roselyn Marie Thompson Nelson, 52, a resident of Brookhaven passed away at her home on March 1, 2013. She was the daughter of Eddie Thompson and Beulah Mae Bowman Thompson.

Roselyn previously worked at Piggly Wiggly grocery store in Brookhaven as well as Rusty’s fish house.

Roselyn is preceded in death by her father, Eddie Thompson; her sister, Linda T. Posey; and her brother, Randy Thompson.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her husband, Dale Nelson of Brookhaven; her mother, Beulah Mae Bowman Thompson of Brookhaven; her daughter, Christy Baker of Brookhaven; her two sons, Donnie Baker of Brookhaven and Lee Baker of Bogue Chitto; her brother, Ricky Thompson of Brookhaven; her three sisters, Rita Acy of Wesson, Sharon Knight of Brookhaven, and Nancy Thompson of Brookhaven; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Peggy Nelson of Oakvale; numerous nieces and nephews; and eight grandchildren, Cody Baker, John David Andrews, Katelyn Andrews, Corey Baker, Zach Baker, Jake Baker, Josh Baker and Brandon Baker.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 5, at 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel, Natchez Drive location.

Visitation will begin Tuesday at noon at the funeral home until service time at 2 p.m.
