Funeral services for Anna “Sweet” Ebarb White of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m. on Friday, March 15, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with burial at 10 a.m. on Saturday in St. Anne Cemetery in Ebarb, La. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, with rosary at 7, and Friday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.
Mrs. White, 77, died March 11, 2013 at her home. She was born in Louisiana on Dec. 25, 1935 to Keelan Ezernack and Esther Ezernack.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brookhaven. She was a volunteer at King’s Daughters Medical Center and loved to entertain the elderly at the local nursing homes and play country and gospel music. Mrs. White never met a stranger. Her greatest love was her family and God.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Johnny Ebarb; one brother, Norbert Ezernack; and one grandson, Jacob Jay Smith.
Survivors are her husband, Howard White; sons, Jason Ebarb and wife, Shirley, of Bogue Chitto, and Dale Ebarb and wife, Monica, of Ebarb, La.; daughter, Cindy Ebarb Smith and husband, Mitchell, of Bogue Chitto; stepsons, Steve White and wife, Tammy, and Cliff White and wife, Candie; brothers, Keelan Ezernack and wife, Linda, of Prairieville, La., and Virgil Ezernack and wife, Barbara, of Zwolle, La.; sisters, Esther Sepulvado of Fort Worth, Texas, and Rosemary Ebarb and husband, Larry, of Zwolle, La.; five grandchildren, Justin Ebarb, Amber Cartinez, Cody Ebarb, Holli Smith and Brody Smith; eight great-grandchildren, Jax, Camryn and Cole Cartinez, Jaycee, Maddox and Rowan Ebarb, and Brandon and Bennett Ebarb; and numerous nieces and nephews and great friends.
