WESSON – Ronnie Averett of Hammond, La., captured the Championship Flight in last weekend’ s Wolf Hollow Golf Club 1-Man Scramble. Averett had a 2-day total of 19-under par 61-64-125, edging Corey Mays of Jackson by one stroke.,

Ryan Case of Brookhaven was third and 2 strokes behind Averett at 127.

Wolf Hollow PGA professional Ronny Ross said 77 golfers participated in the tournament.

Aubrey Mays won the First Flight with a 65-60-125. The top rung in the Second Flight was shared by Winston Lott and Jon Burns at 136. Jeremy Chrestman and Jonathan Kelly both shot 140 and shared No. 1 in the Third Flight. Mike Mims and Bobby Neighbors tied for the top in the Fourth Flight. Berendon Adams won the Fifth Flight.

The Senior Flight Championship went to Charles Davis. Pete Davenport won the Senior First Flight.
