Brookhaven Academy opened its 2013 tennis campaign as the BA boys seek a 9th straight state championship. BA posted a 5-0 Tuesday victory over Chamberlain-Hunt Academy on the Brookhill courts. The Cougars were led by Will Hickman in No. 1 singles and Grant Melancon in No. 2 singles as both players won in straight sets.

BA, coached by David Misner, travels to Northwest Rankin Saturday for a dual match.
