WESSON — Bailey Warren pitched an abbreviated, perfect game and the Wesson Cobras shut out Amite County 15-0 Tuesday night in 3 innings. He struck out 5 batters and walked none.

The Cobras (10-2, 3-0) finished with 7 hits. Jase Alexander had 2 hits for Wesson. Alex Smith singled and drove in 2 runs. Cullen Greer singled and drove in 2 runs. Austin Crow doubled, singled and drove in 2 runs.

Coach Seth Lofton’s Cobras play at Amite County in Liberty on Friday, starting at 5 p.m., with a junior varsity game. They host Franklin County Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

In the preliminary JV game, Wesson whipped the Trojans 14-2. Matthew Burns and Preston Adams combined pitiching skills in the 3-ining game. They allowed 1 hit.

Conner Lowery went 2-for-3 with a double and a single. Max Daughdrill, Ryan Traxler, Davion Frye, Bolon Tadlock and Mac Smith singled.
