Laurie Cain Thornhill passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at St. Tammany’s Hospital in Covington, La.

Mrs. Thornhill was born on May 28, 1957 in Brookhaven.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Ashmore Crum and husband, Dusty; son, Corey Ashmore; two granddaughters, Maelin and Marli Crum; mother, Jeanene Hoskins Kistler; father, David Cain; sisters, Jody Cain Rowntree and husband, Jim, and Amy Cain Lambert and husband, Bruce; brothers, Noel Cain and wife, Darlene, and Greg Cain and wife, Amanda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mrs. Thornhill will be held on April 6 at 2 p.m. at Hawkins Chapel on Zetus Road in Brookhaven.
