Funeral services for Terrell Lee Lambert of Jayess were 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at Powells Grove United Pentecostal Church in Jayess, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lambert, 68, died April 3, 2013 at his home. He was born in Mississippi on June 9, 1944 to Zeb Lambert and Ida Jane Hart Lambert.

He was an operator at Georgia Pacific for 41 years. He was a member of Powells Grove United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Lambert was an avid gardener and enjoyed long walks.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and brother, Jerry Lee Lambert.

Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Mary Lou Lambert; son, Kevin Lambert and wife, Tammy; daughter, Dawn Tanksley and husband, Jeffery; sister, Lola Faye Smith; and four grandchildren, Kelbi Rutland, Kevin Tanksley, Ryan Lambert and Megan Tanksley.
