Franklin Lee Etheridge

Memorial services for Franklin Lee Etheridge of Brookhaven were 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at Wesson Baptist Church. Riverwood Family Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Etheridge, 72, died April 11, 2013 at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born in Liberty on Nov. 2, 1940 to Woodrow W. Etheridge and Florine Whittington Etheridge.

He was a retired car man with ICG Railroad and a crew chief with the forestry commission. Mr. Etheridge was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and sisters, Maxine Gunther and Geraldine Blaylock.

Survivors are his wife, Kathy E. Etheridge (Teel); sons, Bobby Etheridge, Scott Etheridge and wife, Donna, Daniel Etheridge and wife, Kristin, and Steve Etheridge and wife, Beth; sisters, Ruby Nell Etheridge, Dianne Bond and husband, Rod, and Cindy Rimes and husband, Bruce; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.
