Memorial services for Jimmy Hollis Lambert of Ruth are 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, at Ruth Baptist Church. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lambert, 61, died April 12, 2013 at his home. He was born in Mississippi on Feb. 15, 1952 to Howard Lambert and Louise Lambert.
He was a welder/crane operator at B&O Machine and Welding. He was a member of Ruth Baptist Church and of the Ruth Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Lambert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
Preceding him in death were his parents; stepmother, Mary Dee Lambert; and half brother, Bobby Dale Ruby.
Survivors are his wife, Tommie Teasley Lambert; son, Thomas Howard Lambert and wife, Lisa; daughters, Tina Lambert Ballard and husband, Toby, and Stacey Lambert McDavid and husband, Brian; brother, Jackie Lambert; sister, Vickie McCullough and husband, Fred; six grandchildren, Leonna Ballard Huhn, Sydney Ballard, Jamie McDavid, Ryan McDavid, Ashlyn Lambert and Emma Lambert; mother-in-law, Mary Nell Teasley; and sister-in-law, Christine Teasley Rials.
