Funeral services for Robert Marin “Pete” Foster of Hazlehurst are 11 a.m. on Monday, April 15, at Spring Hill Baptist Church, with burial in Strong Hope Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Foster, 88, died April 11, 2013 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst.

Survivors are his son, Bob Foster, of Brookhaven; daughters, Denise Beard and Cecile Foster, both of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Shane Beard, of Hazlehurst, Douglas Perry Foster, of Oxford, Brandi Tucker, of Brookhaven, and Maci Smiley Foster, of Hazlehurst; and five great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank his caregivers, Glenda Benjamin, Lula Coleman and Helen Brown, for their devoted care for the years that Mr. Foster was ill.
