Funeral services for the Rev. Ronnie Poole of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, at Macedonia M.B. Church, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. R.E Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Rev. Poole, 59, died April 16, 2013 at his home. He was born in Mississippi on Jan. 5, 1954, to Willie Lee Poole and Shellie Mae Dixon Poole.

He was a bus driver and a minister. He was a member of St. Mark M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Willie L. Poole Jr.; mother-in-law, Pearl Henry Jackson; and two brothers-in-law.

Survivors are his wife, Rita Jackson Poole; sons, Cedric R. Poole and wife, Pamela, of Summit, Kendall C. Poole and wife, Deana, of Brookhaven, Lamont D. Jackson and wife, Shastar, of Waynesville, Mo., and Dexter Butler and wife, Aquiela, of Arlington, Texas; sister, Sadie P. Batiest and husband, Michael, of Jackson; and 10 grandchildren.
