On a cold, windy Thursday morning, the team of Jerry Harper, Yogi Yarbrough, John Darington and Ronnie Grenn fired a sizzling 15-under par 55 and won the Senior Scramble at the Brookhaven Country Club. They recorded eagles on holes No. 1 and No. 7.

Second place at 12-under 58 was the team of Joe Williams, Gene Hardin, Tommy Vice, Robert Knight and Jerry Handy. In third place at 59 was the team of Charlie Davis, Eddie Ashley, Dick Arnold and Dwayne Oberschmidt.

The Senior Scramble is open to the public and starts each Thursday at 9 a.m. Registration deadline is 8:30.
