Thirty-two golfers pursued Thursday’s Senior Scramble title at the Brookhaven Country Club and two teams shared the top rung.

Two teams tied for first place at 16-under par 54. Joe Williams, Michael Ward, Don Driskell and Ronnie Grenn composed one team and the other team consisted of Cecil Manchester, Hap Prejean, Ira Causey and Eddie Ashley.

Third place at 15-under par was the team of Jim Waldon, Henry Wallace, Yogi Yarborough and Dick Arnold.

The BCC senior scramble starts at 9 a.m. each Thursday and is open to the public. Entry deadline is 8:30.
