Banquet honors Enterprise athletes

      The Enterprise faculty and coaches honored their varsity athletes with an athletic banquet to recognize the football, basketball, softball, baseball, cheerleader, dance, tennis, golf and archery teams.

     Enterprise Booster Club president John Paul Holmes welcomed the crowd to the banquet that was held in the Enterprise gymnasium.       Principal Shannon Eubanks concluded the awards ceremony and recognized two seniors as the Lindy Callahan Award Nominees: Caroleah Brister and Braxton Foster.     Coaches from each sport recognized their team’s achievements during the year and players were given awards to signify their hard work.

     Carlee Nations received the Rookie of the Year award in softball. Forrest Scott received the overall Most Valuable Player award in boys basketball. Caroleah Brister received honors in girls basketball with the Most Valuable Player Award.

     Jacob Greer got the Most Valuable Male Golfer. Katie Case received the Most Valuable Female Golfer.

      Shane Jordan was honored with the Top Male Archer. Audrey Cole received the Top Female Shooter. Desiree Katt was honored with the Top Female Single Score award.

     Caroleah Brister was selected as the Most Valuable Female Player  in tennis. Grant Brister and Dakota White were the Most Valuable Male Players in tennis.

      Matt Greer received with Most Valuable Defensive Player Award in football. Jackson Cole was selected the Most Valuable Offensive Player in football. Dylan Smith received honors as the Most Valuable Special Team Player.

     In baseball, Braxton Foster claimed the Most Valuable Offensive Player award. Austin Fuller earned the Most Valuable Defensive Player award.

     Just before the closing of the ceremony, Holmes and other Enterprise booster club members announced the recipients of the scholarship awards.

     Braxton Foster received the $500 Gold Award. Veonka Sanders was honored with the $500 Maroon Award. Caroleah Brister received the $1,000 Yellow Jacket Award.     Seniors in each sport were recognized with awards for their effort and the juniors received their letterman jackets.
