The team of Dexter Butler, James Roberts, Ed Guthrie and Bob Plue shot a 14-under par 56 and won Thursday’s Senior Scramble at the Wolf Hollow Golf Club.

In second place at 13-under par was the team of Mel Dye, Joe Brister, Bob Stringfellow and Gene Wilson. They won a scorecard playoff over Ira Motley, Mike Allen, Ronnie Grenn and Dick Arnold.

Eight teams, consisting of 32 golfers, participated in the scramble.

The Senior Scramble is open to the public and starts each Thursday at 9 a.m. Entry deadline is 8:30.
