Three new Al Roker Entertainment reality series are looking for big personality stars in the area.
The New York based production company is looking for Southern sisters, manly men in girly worlds and Latino-American families to cast for three shows currently in development.
Emma Kreienberg, a casting intern with Al Roker Entertainment, said many of the details of the show will be determined by who applies and who is ultimately chosen, but they are looking to confirm the shows in July.
“We want people that have big personalities,” Kreienberg said. “We want someone that is exciting and bold in their day-to-day life.”
For Southern sisters, the casting agents are looking for two or more sisters who run a business together or share a hobby. Kreienberg said the more sisters the better.
Manly men in girly worlds will consistent of the typical guy’s guy who is surrounded by women.
For the Latino-American show, they are looking for a family who runs a business together or share a hobby. Kreienberg said people who own a business is ideal because it helps provide a setting.
At this point in production, Kreienberg said they are not sure whether the shows will center around one person or family or if they will have several that they will rotate between.
Anyone interested in applying for these shows should email the company at aretvcasting@gmail.com as soon as possible with a brief description and reasons why the company should film a show about you.
Kreienberg said there will be a follow-up phone interview so that the casting agents can get a feel for the personalities.
“We really want to see what their true personality is because we don’t want it to be manufactured,” she said.
Anyone is welcome to apply as long as they are 18 or older.
