Memorial services for Jamie Ray White of Brookhaven are 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, at Big Springs Baptist Church. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 6 p.m. at the church.

Mr. White, 48, died June 28, 2013 at his home. He was born on July 5, 1964.

He was a 1982 graduate of Brookhaven High School and a youth minister at Big Springs Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Ray and Juanita Thornhill, and paternal grandparents, J.E. and Bertie White.

Survivors are his wife, Tina (Hux) White; parents, Benjamin D. White and Lavon Thornhill White; sons, Ryan White and wife, Mindy, of Jackson, and Cody White and wife, Meagan, of Brookhaven; daughter, Emily White of Brookhaven; stepdaughters, Laci Dickerson and husband, Jeremy, of Byram, Nicole Dickerson and husband, Matthew, of Crystal Springs, and Heather Williams and husband, Cary, of Crystal Springs; sister, Robin Smith and husband, Ronnie, of Brookhaven; 10 grandchildren; four nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to Big Springs Baptist Church Youth Fund or a live plant as a living memorial.
