David Wayne Branch, 59, of Bogue Chitto, passed away Aug. 9, 2013 at his home. He was born in Louisiana on Feb. 14, 1954. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

He was a Navy Veteran of Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his father, John “J.D.” Hardy; brother, Thomas Edward Smith; sister, Dianne Smith; and his grandfather and grandmother, Henry and Bama Mae Young.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher Logan Branch, Brian Avery Branch and Erik Duane Branch; daughter, Kimberly Herring; brothers, Gene Branch, James Smith and John Hardy; and one sister, Sue Cotton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

The family has requested a private memorial.
