There will be a graveside service for Roscoe Nevels held on Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 until 11 a.m. prior to service at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

Troy Roscoe Nevels, 48, of Brookhaven, passed away Aug. 10, 2013 in Jefferson County. He was born on Feb. 19, 1965 to Ralph and Sylvia Sue Davis Nevels.

He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Kent Nevels; grandparents, Elmer and Anna Nevels and Thelma and Benton Davis; and step-grandfather, Fred Mitchell.

Survivors are his parents; brothers, Ralph D. Nevels of Brandon and Scott Nevels; and his sister, Litty A. Mullinax of Brookhaven.
