Funeral services for Joyce Campbell Arnold of Brookhaven are 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Sunday from 2 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Arnold, 74, died Aug. 31, 2013 at her home. She was born in Grove Hill, Ala. on April 1, 1939 to Robert C. Campbell and Allie Duke Campbell Beasley.

She was a retired social worker with Silver Cross Home and Hospice Ministries. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookhaven, where she was an active member of her Sunday school class. Mrs. Arnold loved playing bridge with her friends and spending time with her family. She and her husband were avid travelers.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Bette C. Aikin; and brother, Vernon Campbell.

Survivors are her husband, Richard “Dick” Arnold; son, Ricky Arnold and wife, Sandi; daughters, Sarah A. Oberschmidt and husband, Dwayne, and Beth A. Evans and husband, Jeff; brothers, Bob Campbell and wife, Ann, of Decatur, Ala., Jerry Campbell of Cantonment, Fla. and Larry Campbell and wife, Suzanne, of Cummings, Ga.; sister, Sondra Bullard and husband, Monte, of Coeur D’alene, Idaho; five grandchildren, Aaron Oberschmidt and wife, Jennifer, Emily Oberschmidt Thompson and husband, Tyler, Samantha Arnold Luckel and husband, Gilbert, Ali Evans and Sarah Grace Evans; and three great-grandchildren, Slade Oberschmidt, Loxlea Luckel and Madelyn Claire Thompson.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund or Hospice Ministries.
