Funeral services for Hope LaShanna Norris of Wesson are 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, at Jericho Church of Christ in Wesson, with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.

Ms. Norris, 31, died Aug. 31, 2013 in Copiah County. She was born in Jackson on Aug. 29, 1982.

She was a 2000 graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center and worked in the shipping department for McLane Southern Grocery Distribution. She was a member of Jericho Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her grandfather, Willie “Dub” Coleman; grandmothers, Mildred Adams Coleman and Bertha Banks; aunt, Christine Coleman; and cousins, Larry Darnell Coleman and Benny Lamar Davis.

Survivors are her mother, Tammy Banks and husband, Johnny Clyde Banks, of Wesson; father, Michael Norris and wife, Kathy Norris, of Brookhaven; brothers, Taurus Coleman of Bogue Chitto, Dedric Banks of Gulfport, Andrew Norris and wife, Toni, of Brookhaven, Michael Chase Norris of Brookhaven and Austin Norris of Brookhaven; sisters, Valerie Byrd of Brookhaven, DeAngela Banks of Oakland, Calif., Brandy Norris of Brookhaven and Anna Grace Norris of Brookhaven; aunts, Anne Moore and husband, Lucius Moore, of Wesson, and Patricia Rollins and husband, J.B. Rollins, of Wesson; uncles, Julius Coleman of Schulenburg, Texas, and Phillip Coleman of Indianapolis; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
