CRYSTAL SPRINGS – The Wesson Lady Cobras clobbered the Crystal Springs Lady Tigers to secure a 13-1 victory Tuesday night in slowpitch softball action.

The Lady Cobras (11-5, 1-0) return home to host Region 7-3A foe, the Hazlehurst Lady Indians Thursday night. Junior varsity begins at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6.

Wesson 13, Crystal Springs 1 

The Lady Cobras overpowered the young Lady Tigers with a strong display at the plate and on defense. Wesson out hit Crystal Springs 15-3

Cheyenne Gladden tossed the victory for the Lady Cobras.

Kaitlyn Smith provided the offensive explosion to lead Wesson with a home run. Harmoni Ashley continued the charge with a triple and a double. Aurianna Vaughn, Kayla Britt and Gladden helped with a pair of singles. Sabria Green had a triple. Hitting safely were Hailey Chassion, Mary Beth Munn, Sarah Robison and Bailey Middleton.
