Funeral services for Sonia Geneva Smith Baker of Monticello are 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Baker, 46, died Sept. 22, 2013, in Monticello. She was born in Louisiana on Feb. 6, 1967.

Mrs. Baker was a graduate of Copiah Lincoln Community College. She loved spending time with her family and helping others in any way she could. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She attended New Beginnings Church in Martinsville.

Survivors are her husband, Rex A. Barker; son, Joshua Lee Lambert; daughters, Amanda Lambert Gatlin and husband, Tyler, and Lisa Renee Lambert; parents, Charles Albert Smith and Bessie Mae Mason Russell; brothers, Kevin Wilson and wife, Angie; sister, Rachelle Greer and husband, Carey; nieces, LeAnn Wallace and Ashely Payne; nephews, Zane Wilson, Gage Wilson and Mason Wilson; and grandchildren, Jakob, Teagan, Marlee and Brennan.
