Funeral services for Raymond Earl Trass of Clinton are 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, at Willie Mae Tyler Memorial Chapel with burial in Friendship M.B. Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles McGee officiating.

Visitation is Monday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Trass, 73, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2013, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 12, 1940, to the late Henry B. Trass Sr. and Drusie Hutchins Trass.

He was a retired Real Estate Broker in Los Angeles, Calif. He was a graduate of Alexander High School in Brookhaven, and was an Alumnus of Alcorn State University in Lorman. He was a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Urban League.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, Henry B. Trass Jr., Andrew Trass, Major Trass and Eddie Trass; and his sisters, Thelma Trass Williams, and Gladys Trass Dillon.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Aubrey Trass, of Los Angeles, Calif.; sons, Timreuka Trass, of Philadelphia, Pa., and Tralaskii Trass, of Los Angeles, Calif.; brothers, Milton Trass, of Brookhaven, and Thomas Trass, of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Edyce Trass Lawrence, of Olive Branch; Theresa Trass Colston, of Cleveland, Ohio, Eunice Trass Smith, of Jackson, and Phyllis Trass Hammond, of Ridgeland; and his grandson, Timreuka RayJean Trass, of Los Angeles, Calif.

Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
