Private funeral services for Norman Lidia of Ruth will be held at a later date.

Mr. Lidia, 82, died Oct. 6, 2013, at home. He was born in Claud, Texas, on Aug. 19, 1931.

He was retired from Fluor Corporation Construction Company.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lynard Knight Lidia and Mary Keller Lidia; sons, Jerry Lidia and Terry Lidia; daughter, Sherry Brewer, and brother, Morris Lida.

Survivors are his wife, Edith P. Lidia, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
