Funeral services for Geneva Magee Coghlan of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with interment at Rawls Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Coghlan, 81, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013. She was born on Nov. 26, 1931 to Jesse and Nellie Case Magee. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Donald Davis; brothers, Joe Magee, Jr. Magee, Cecil Magee, and Virgil Magee; sisters Ethel Gardner, Jannette Hughes, Edith Brown, and Nelda Faye Magee

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Jasper Coghlan; daughters, Jan Davis, Kay Davis and husband William Davis all of Bogue Chitto; brother, Mikel Magee of North Carolina; sister, Catherine Smith of Monticello; five grandchildren, Guy and Michelle Hatfield of Anahuac, TX, Jason and Chasity Furr of Brookhaven, James and Dawn Bishop of Bogue Chitto, Evette Davis of Bogue Chitto, and Jason and Tabetha Taylor of Indiana; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Northview Baptist Church to the Beams Ministry.
