Funeral services for Windi Newton Johnson are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Zion Hill Baptist Church with burial in Zion Hill Cemetery.

Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Nov. 1 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson, 34, passed away Oct. 20, 2013, in Texas.

Preceding her in death was her brother, A.J. Sullivan

She is survived by husband, David Johnson; son, Cody Johnson of Madison; daughters, Steffany Johnson of Madison and Zoe Johnson of Wesson; father, Llewellyn Newton of Pearl; mother, Sylvia Lowden of Center, Texas; sister, Freedom Newton-Cox of Ridgeland; brothers, Marshall “Trey” Mitchell of Pisgah, Brantley Mitchell of Flowood, and Ricky Shoemaker of Louisiana; grandmother, Ouida Newton-Wright of Brandon; sisters-in-law, Cindy Hall of Wesson and Debi Calhoun of Hoover, Ala.; and brother-in-law, James Johnson of Downsville, La.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church building fund.
