Funeral services for James Motley of Brookhaven are 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, at St. Peter Rock M.B. Church, Wesson, with burial in St. John Cemetery, Wesson. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Motley, 72, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst.

He was born on Nov. 20, 1941, in Springfield, Ill., to Robert Motley and Frances Cotton.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
