Martin L. Branch Jr., formerly of Wilmington, N.C., died Dec. 3, 2013, at his residence in Elizabeth City, N.C. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Branch, 68, was born in Wayne County to the late Martin Luther Branch Sr. and Molly Hollomon Benton.

He was a retired Insurance Agent and a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors are two sons, Adrian Scott Branch of Brookhaven and Stephen Brookes Branch of Springfield, Va.; a sister, Myra Mock and husband, Bernie of Elizabeth City, N.C.; a brother, Michael Branch of Wilmington, N.C., and four grandchildren.

Memorial donations maybe made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
