Funeral services for Bobby Joe Saucier of Liberty are 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, at Newman Funeral Home in Centreville. Services will be conducted by Bro. T.W. Saucier with burial at a later date. Newman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Saucier, 66, died Dec. 16, 2013. He was born in Franklin County on March 27, 1947, to Leo and Mary Saucier.
He was a retired oilfield worker.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Willie Saucier and Harold Saucier; and a granddaughter, Atlanta Sisco.
Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Ruth Nolan Saucier; three daughters, Polly Bowlin and her husband, Todd, of Brookhaven, Crystal Bendily of Liberty, and Kimmie Sellers and her husband, Jonathan, of Norwood, La.; his son, Bobby Joe (B.J.) Saucier Jr. and his wife, Tommie Lou, of Liberty; two sisters, Clara Mae Kimble, and her husband, Paul, of Brookhaven, and Peggy Lambert of Denham Springs, La. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Jerry W. (J.W.) Fry Jr., Casey Fry and Dylan Fry of Bogue Chitto, Britney Saucier, Tyler Saucier, Chelsea Bendily and Kaylee Bendily, all of Liberty, Aaron Bendily of St. Francisville, La., Ashley Bowlin and Sawyer Bowlin of Brookhaven, Kenneth Sisco of Bogue Chitto, Aimmi Lorio, Adam Allen, Anna Allen and Ace Sellers, all of Norwood, La. Other survivors are his great-grandchildren, Blaise and Karson Lilly of Liberty, Alexis Smith, Layne Sisco and Caden Sisco, all of Bogue Chitto and Reeci Day Allen of Norwood, La.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jerry (J.W.) Fry Jr., Casey Fry, Dylan Fry, Tyler Saucier, Sawyer Bowlin, Jerry Fry Sr., Drew Noland, Scott McKlemurry and Austin McDonald.
