Funeral services for Ammie Lottie Burris Cupit of McCall Creek are 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday, Dec. 19, from 5 until 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 until 10 a.m. at the funeral home

Mrs. Cupit, 101, died Dec. 18, 2013, at her home. She was born October 9, 1912. to William A. and Lillie Dale Cotten Burris.

She was the oldest member of New Salem Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Eli Cupit; infant daughter; son, Clayton Cupit; daughter, Claudell Jones and husband, Roger; daughter-in-law, Donna Cupit; great-grandson, Andy Jones; six brothers, Jim Burris and wife, Louise, Hardy Burris and wife, Nova, John Burris and wife, Golda Mae, Leon Burris and wife, Gladys, Claude Burris and wife, Pauline, Nolan Burris and wife, Deloris; two sisters, Lizzie Martin and husband, Crystal, and Alyce Porter and husband, Warren.

She is survived by her sons W.L. Cupit and fiancé, Donna Harriel, and Tommy Cupit and wife, Sharon; daughters, Doris Glen Dillon and husband, Harold, Nina Dale Golman and husband, Kenneth, and Judy Smith; daughter-in-law Shirley Cupit; 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren; special caregivers, Shirley Martin, Carolyn Smith, Dr. Karen Touchstone, Bridget Jordan and Southern Care Hospice.

Memorials may be made to New Salem Baptist Church, Southern Care Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
