Eight Wolves sign during early signing period

WESSON – The Copiah-Lincoln Wolfpack will have eight players who have signed during the NCAA early signing period for junior college football transfers.
David Adams, an offensive lineman, signed with Middle Tennessee State University. Adams is a graduate of South Delta High School. Adams was granted a medical redshirt after his freshman season and will have three seasons of eligibility at MTSU.
Xavier Dampeer, an offensive lineman, signed with Auburn University. Dampeer is a graduate of Mendenhall High School. Dampeer played defensive tackle his freshman season before switching to center as a sophomore.
Jordan Harris, a linebacker, signed with Iowa State University. Harris is a graduate of Clarksdale High School. Harris led the nation by averaging more than 13 tackles per game and was named an All-American by the NJCAA.
Kalen Jackson, a defensive back, signed with the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Jackson is a graduate of Magee High School. Jackson will join former Co-Lin defensive back Calvin Jones in the UAB secondary.
Philanteus Jarrett, a defensive lineman, signed with Southeastern Louisiana University. Jarrett is a graduate of Simmons High School. Jarrett was selected to play the MACJC All-Star game where he helped lead the South to a 6-3 victory.
Jocquell Johnson, an offensive lineman, signed with Mississippi State. Johnson is a graduate of Callaway High School. Johnson is the first Co-Lin player to sign with MSU since offensive lineman Phillip Freeman in 2007.
Edward Muldrow, a linebacker, signed with the University of West Virginia. Muldrow is a graduate of South Gwinnett High School (Ga.). Muldrow transferred to Co-Lin from Contra Costa Community College in California. He originally signed with the University of South Carolina out of high school and spent a season there as a redshirt.
Terry Smith, a long-snapper, signed with Alcorn State University. Smith is a graduate of Port Gibson High School. Smith redshirted as a freshman in 2012 and will have three seasons of eligibility at Alcorn.
Early signees must enroll at their new college after the holiday break. The traditional signing day, Feb. 5, will be another opportunity for Co-Lin sophomores who have not previously signed to do so.
