Funeral services for Timothy James Hodges of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Brookhaven Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 849 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home

Timothy Hodges, 7, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. He was born Nov. 1, 2006.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Henry and Annie Mae Jenkins, Manual and Francis Hodges, James E. and Rose M. Buffington, Jessie Boyd, Ralph Hodges and his step-grandparents; Robert and Rose Rippy.

Survivors include his father, Tim O. Hodges; mother, Shannon M. Hodges;

sister, Christina D. Hodges; grandmother, Gloria Nell Buffington; step-grandmother, Bertha Nell Hodges ; and step-grandfather: James L. Buffington. all of Bogue Chitto. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and great-cousins.
