Funeral services for Karlianna Celeste Brumfield, 6, of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, with burial in Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jay Anderson will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, Brookhaven.

Visitation will be Friday, at from 5 until 9 p.m. and continue at 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Miss Brumfield, 6, died Jan. 1, 2014, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. She was born in Brookhaven on March 6, 2007. She was the daughter of Charles Steven Brumfield and Kristina Evans Brumfield.

She was a first grade student at Enterprise Attendance Center and attended Fair River Baptist Church of Brookhaven. She was a princess that everybody loved.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jimmy Evans; her uncle, Brian Dahl; her great-grandparents, Woodrow and Edna Brumfield and Hewitt and Lola Roberts and also her great-grandfather, Lloyd Case.

She is survived by her parents, Steven and Kristina Brumfield of Bogue Chitto; two brothers, Adam Brumfield and Evan Brumfield both of Bogue Chitto; her grandparents, Linda Evans of Brookhaven and Charles and Lavonne Brumfield of Bogue Chitto; her great-grandmothers, Mavis Evans of Prentiss and Catherine Stricklin of Brookhaven; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Steven Brumfield, Charles Brumfield, Kenneth Evans and Trey Swaney.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Adams United Methodist Church cemetery fund or a favorite charity in memory of Karlianna.
