Franklin County Bulldogs cruise past Cathedral

BUDE – Hoby Mullins scored a three-goal hat trick, as the Franklin County Bulldogs produced one of their most convincing wins over rival Natchez Cathedral 9-0.
FCHS plays host to Loyd Star Thursday at 5 p.m.
Adding support in the Bulldogs’ win over Cathedral were D.J. Booker, Chase Freeman, Greg Queen, Zayne Mullins, Kyle McCormick and Ryan Shaw with a goal each.
The Bulldogs stand 15-0 overall and can clinch a playoff berth this Friday with a win at Natchez Cathedral.
In the girls’ game, FC won 2-0 behind a goal apiece from Krislyn Kent and S’Driq Middleton. The FC girls are also 14-0 and can clinch a playoff spot with a win at Cathedral. Game time is set for 6 p.m., with the boys’ contest slated to begin at 7:30.
Coaching the Bulldog soccer teams are head coach Jeff Long and assistant coach Stephanie McCormick.
