A memorial service for Eugene Louis Graves, of Brookhaven was Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

Mr. Graves, 86, died Jan. 14, 2014, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb. He was born on Nov. 18, 1928, to Rollie and Mary Graves.

He was a retired truck driver and served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Billie Van Graves; granddaughter Andrea Nicole Graves; and three brothers.

Survivors are his special longtime friend, Iva Dixene Doremus; sons, David Eugene Graves, Randy Wayne Graves and wife, Theresa, Dennis James Graves and wife, Sandra, Jerry “Tuffy” Martin and wife, Gina; daughter, Rebecca Buie and husband, Lee; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul E. Graves.

Memorials can be made to Brookhaven Animal Rescue League.
