Funeral services for Fisher James Martin, infant, of Summit are 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at Catchings Funeral Home in Summit with burial in Johnston Chapel United Church Cemetery. Catchings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Brother Lance Moak will officiate the services.

Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, from 4 until 7 p.m. and continues on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Fisher James Martin died Jan. 17, 2014, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born on Jan. 17, 2014, to Steven James Martin Jr. and Courtney Marie Mitchell.

Pallbearers will be Austin Williams, Chris Hannah, Chas Etheridge, Mickeal Etheridge, Stormy Boyte and Justin Shafer.

The time that we spent with you was amazing, the family said. We were able to hold you and cherish every moment we had with you, up until you grew your wings and took flight and flew home to the kingdom that was prepared for you. You will forever be in our hearts, Fisher. Not a day will go by that we will not think of you. Mommy and daddy will always love you little man.

Preceding him in death were great-grandparents, Homer T. and Sandra Freeman; Madalyn Hope Pace, Dorothy Cannon, Homer and Winnie Laird, Freddie Ray Hannah and Bill “BB” Grone.

Survivors are his parents, grandparents, Dale Freeman of Summit, Steven Martin Sr. of Magnolia, Randy Hannah and wife, Chellie, of Bogue Chitto, and Christa Mitchell of Bogue Chitto; great-grandparents, Ann Grone, Jimmie R. Martin Sr.; aunts, Iris Mitchell of Bogue Chitto and Sandy Freeman of Summit; uncles, Chris Hannah, Chas Etheridge and Mickeal Etheridge all of Bogue Chitto; great-aunts, Debra Anding, Michelle Wyatt and husband, Dave; great-uncles, Shane Hannah and wife, Teresa, Pat Freeman and wife, Phyllis, Danny Cannon and wife, Dusty, Joey Cannon and Jesse Martin; great great-aunt, Ruth Talley and husband, Billy; great-great-great-uncle, Camon Lee.
