Funeral services for Martha Catherine Carmical of Wesson are 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 894 Natchez Drive, with burial in New Sight Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home, Natchez Drive, and continues on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m.

Mrs. Carmical, 72, died Jan. 23, 2014, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, La. She was born in Lincoln County on Feb. 7, 1941, to the late Audrey Brewer and Betty V Britt Brewer.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, David D. Carmical Sr.; son, Stephen Carmical; sister, Joan Brewer; brother, David Brewer; and granddaughter, Danielle Carmical.

Survivors are her three sons, David Carmical Jr. and wife, Melodie, of Hattiesburg, James Carmical and wife, Melissa, of Star, and Kenneth Carmical and wife, Charlene, of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters, Connie Thornton and husband, Jimmy, of Perkinston, and Theresa Bounds and husband, Daniel, of Hattiesburg; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Bettie Jean Smallwood, Barbara Allen, Carolyn Criswell and Charlotte Setliff.
