Visitation for Norma Brister Brown of Baton Rouge are noon until 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home. She has chosen to be cremated and placed with her daddy at Greenoaks. Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 1000 Florida Blvd., East Baton Rouge, La., is in charge of arrangements.

She remained the incredibly strong woman she always was until the end, planning her own funeral and passing away in her sleep as she wished.

She was preceded in death by Frank, her husband of what would have been over 60 years; her parents, Vince and Lillian Brister; her sisters, Charlene “Sis” Reeves, and Christine Brister; and brothers, Leland, Cecil, Clifton, Clarence and William “Bill” Brister.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Brown; granddaughter, Torri Brown; sisters, Jo (D’Antoni) Grosskopf, Lorraine Hisaw, and sister and very special brother-in-law, Dean and Tony Saccaro.
