Services for Michael Lynn Buckles are at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at the funeral home.

Mr. Buckles, 43, of McCall Creek, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014. He was born March 2, 1970, to Benny R. and Dianne Buckles.

He was a deacon at Friendship Baptist Church in Brookhaven and was a production operator offshore. Mike will be remembered as a person who loved his family, loved Jesus and loved his church family.

He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandmother, Maggie Buckles; and his father-in-law, Howard Zumbro.

Survivors include his wife, Kristi Zumbro Buckles; his sons, Michael Chase Buckles and Cameron Buckles, both of McCall Creek; his mother, Dianne Buckles; his grandparents, Kirby and Jewel Carlock; his brother, Ben Buckles; mother-in-law, Donis Zumbro of McCall Creek; and his aunts, Judy Smith and husband Billy and Patsy Hester, all of Natchez.
