Funeral services for Robert B. Britt of Brookhaven are 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Monday, March 3, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home and resumed Tuesday, March 4, at 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service.

Mr. Britt, 76, died March 1, 2014, at Countrybrook Living Center, Brookhaven. He was born in Oakgrove, La., on March 23, 1937, to M.D. Britt and Doris J. Mathis Britt.

He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retired from King’s Daughters Medical Center with 28 years in janitorial services.

Preceding him in death was his father, M.D. Britt and one brother, Eddie Leon Britt.

Survivors are his mother, Doris J. Mathis Britt, of Brookhaven; four brothers, Kenneth Britt and wife Joanne, of Wesson, Michael Britt and wife Doris Hudson Britt, of Brookhaven, Sammy Britt, of Utica, and Danny Britt and wife Peggy, of Wesson; three sisters, Barbara Gomez, of Clinton, Ark., Beverly Britt, of Brookhaven, and Debra Fuller and husband, Rodney, of Wesson; his sister-in-law, Marvalynn White, of Brookhaven; and numerous nieces and nephews.
