Icy weather cancels Tuesday’s baseball, softball, tennis games

Tuesday’s icy cold weather forced postponement on all the baseball, softball and tennis afternoon games around the area. Several schools have already announced their new make up dates.
For baseball, Brookhaven Academy host Centreville, Friday starting at 5 p.m. for the junior varsity, followed by the varsity game at 7 p.m.
Wesson welcomes Lawrence County Thursday for twinbill, starting at 5 p.m.
Loyd Star at Brookhaven has been cancelled and was undecided on their make up date.
For softball, the Co-Lin Lady Wolves will host their archrivals Southwest Lady Bears today for a south division doubleheader starting at 3 p.m.
Bogue Chitto v. Wesson was postponed and was undecided on a make up date.
Loyd Star cancelled their game with Salem.
Natchez Cathedral called Enterprise to cancel their game.
For tennis, Brookhaven, Enterprise and West Lincoln will start their season Wednesday after postponing their matches Monday and Tuesday.
Enterprise entertains Puckett at the City Courts at 2 p.m.
West Lincoln welcomes Franklin County to the courts at the Brookhaven Country Club.
Brookhaven was suppose to host Natchez today at Brookhill, but it was recently postponed again due to the Bulldogs are having transportation problems.
