RICHLAND- The Wesson Cobras suffered another hard-fought loss Saturday after falling to Richland 6-0 in baseball action.

Preston Adams absorbed the setback on the mound for the Cobras with three strikeouts, no walks and two hit batters.

Mac McQuage recorded the only hit for Wesson with a single.

Bryson McGranning pitched the win for Richland with four strikeouts and one walk.

Richland was led on offense by Ty Tucker, John Cushmond, Jordan McGowen, Brandon Smith, Chris Grantham and Joel Bacallao with a single each.

The Cobras (0-4) will be in action in Lawrence County’s Spring Break Invitational tournament Monday as they take on the Magee Tigers starting at 7 p.m.
